These laws are made to help protect the citizens of the city of Neonosa. Failure to comply will result in incarceration for a period of time, community service, fines or other forms of punishment.


Things that are illegal are:

City:
-Littering

-Vandalism
-Loitering
-Stealing
-Indecent exposure
-Drunk and disorderly
-Public disorder
-Defamation & Slander
-Aiding and abetting a criminal.
-Extortion of person or company
-Forgery of ID cards, credit, credit-cards, signatures.
-Hacking into private systems and corporate computer systems.
-Impersonating officiates
-Reckless endangerment

-Gambling

 

Police:
-It is a punishable crime to not follow the commands of a police-officer on duty.


-Other acts that are punishable are:
-Resisting arrest.
-Insulting a police-officer on duty.
-Hinder arrest or in other way disturb the work of police on duty.
-Attempting to bribe an officer/official of the law.

 

Drugs:
-Selling and distribution of drugs other then marijuana is illegal.
-You are only allowed to sell/purchase marijuana in a licensed store. 
-A person at any given time may carry three ounces of marijuana at any given time. Anything more than that -will be grounds for punishment.

 

Weapons:
Guns/firearms needs a license to be carried, these includes but are not limited to:
        -Pistols
        -Hand guns
        -Shot guns
        -Military grade weapons

Knives, pocket knives, swords:
Knives and pocket knives can not be any longer than three inches from tip of blade to the meeting of the hilt when carried in public
-Swords needs a permit to carry.

All weapon permits are issued through licensed gun/weapon shop or at the police station, after having passed a safety course. 


NOTE: ALL WEAPONS ARE PROHIBITED TO BE WORN INSIDE GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS OR OFFICES.


Trafficking:
It is illegal to distribute illegal weapons, drugs and people.


It is illegal to sell or purchase people with the intent of owning them as property. 


It is illegal to own slaves. This does not apply to people on community service. 


Rape:
Rape is illegal.


Rape is defined as an act of having sex with someone without their expressed consent.


It is illegal to give someone drugs or alcohol to obtain such a consent.


Assault:
Assaulting another person or pet is illegal.


Assaulting a person or pet for blood is illegal. 


Police officers in pursuit of justice may be exempt from this law.


It is within the law for a person to defend him/herself if attacked. Self-defense but with moderation. 

Murder:
Murder is definitely illegal. 


Punishment:
Punishment comes in three levels.

1. The police officer will convict you on the spot for smaller crimes and are allowed to issue fines without any interrogation.

2. You are taken to the police station where you will be interrogated and the officer in charge will determine your punishment. Higher fines, Shorter jail-time, light community service

​

3. You are taken to the police station. You do have the right to a lawyer. If you can not afford a lawyer one will be appointed to you free of charge. There will be a court date where you have to face a judge and a prosecutor. These are for the serious crimes and will lead to heavy fines, heavy community service or long incarceration.
